This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!

I'm a vegetarian, pacifist, skeptic, libertarian, with impending ideas of both doom and glory. I live in the woods of northern Michigan (USA). I see the backwards world we live in as extremely limiting, and often am deterred by it rather than inspired. I try to respect all whom I come across (unless of course you do something which causes me to lose such respect, which is essentially any act of misrepresenting the human race).
I've been shooting film since April 2011 via my Canon EOS Kiss (Japan's version of the Rebel) and Sigma Aspherical mini-zoom macro lens, which I refer to as Camer. This is the first time I've ever used an SLR camera, and I do have a lot to learn. Thus far, I've had my film developed and scanned by either Walgreens or the local ma&pa shop.
My newest interest is experimenting in abstract film photography, as well as digital abstractions of my film photos. Nature amazes me, so I'm sure you'll still find a ton of photos of such in my gallery.
**** If you have any advice on analog/analogue/film I'm pretty much all ears. I need to find a new place for developing and scanning as I'm becoming more and more dissatisfied with the treatment of my images. It would be awesome if you're in the US and send your film out, and wouldn't mind sharing your experience with your developer and costs. I'm sliightly considering buying a scanner, though my funds are tight. I am pretty frightened at the thought of myself developing my film. I've only been shooting for about a year with my SLR, so pretty much any and all advice is welcome. If you're interested in sharing your knowlege, please note or comment me!
Hey all I have but two months of premium membership left. I'm determined to make at least a handful more features while I can. On that note, my laptop may be fixed FINALLY.. but it's loading things rather slowly. I'm excited to download GIMP again and start seeing (film!) and editing my recent photos.
Despite the kitchen I work in catching fire, Easter went well. I worked 12.5 hours that day, and it wasn't nearly as stressful and crazy as past holidays. I didn't mind not receiving holiday pay either (for whatever reason the resort only considers Christmas, New Year's, and July 4th to be holidays). I think the restaurant will probably be closed earlier than planned now given the circumstance. My ex-boss (lol, is that acceptable to say?) has ran into my mom a few times and has been asking about me and my availability. Though it could be nice to have a little bit of time off work. Today I began trying to clean out what will be my home soon. I doubt it's been cleaned in years, there's a lot of stuff there but it will be amazing once it's habitable again. I found a yoga mat in the debris, score! Aaaand I can take yoga classes at the resort I work at for half off, alright! To put it short, I'm pretty much in a transition phase in every aspect of my life right now. . I'm trying not to let it stress me, though sometimes it takes it's toll. $800 in medical testing won't tell me what's wrong with my face either.. but the other day I paid my chiropractor in lift tickets, she suggested Sjogren's syndrome which sounds extremely likely to be what I have. That same day the lady behind me in line at Goodwill bought my $25 of things! Hell yes. I definitely think the energy you put out is the energy you attract. Here's to good vibes! I hope everyone is doing well and staying inspired, cheers! Madeline
